Applications that are easy to be used

In the "Designing Interface" book which wrote by Jenifer Tidewell, one section is quite interested.

One could say, "The applicatuions that are easy to be used are designed to be intuitive."

The author think that's almost a tautology.

The author also wrote:

Except that the word "intuitive" is a little bit deceptive. Jef Raskin once pointed out that when we say "intuitive" in the context of software, we really mean "familar".
